CTX3030 Covers

I usually end up reselling my equipment when I upgrade so I keep covers on the display, etc.

I've seen some decent cover sets for the CTX, but the good ones look like they're all from Europe.

Anyone know where I can find a decent set of CTX covers made in the US?

If your talking about the dust/rain covers, yeah the best ones are from the UK. I just bought a control box cover for my wife's XP. To me it's worth the wait for quality and fit.

I just got one that covers the touchpad with a sun visor. I dont see why you need one of the bigger ones unless you are prone to really scratching machines but the touch pad is the part that will affect functionality/resale. I did get one for the wiress unit too just to keep sound out of it

No problem, be advised these are hand made (high quality) so don't get discouraged if you don't get a shipping notice right away. A lot depends on what color you choose (they may have to make it). My first cover took 6 days to make then another 6 to make it to my door. I don't think I ever got a shipping notice through eBay, but I did correspond with them through their FB page where they let me know it was in the mail.

I have their cover for the ctx. Works nicely even though the sun visor really is not that good. They do have a few different color sets.

Ordered the Thesaurus full set black. It's not just bangin' through the brush, it's the unexpected drops, slips, spills, dropped diggers/shovels, swing-rub and travel bounce that can slowly diminish the worth of the machine. The covers remove most of that mental/monetary overhead. They don't help as much if you don't keep them clean, however...if sand/dirt get inside the covers you end up creating a problem your were trying to prevent.

Cool item. Tempting, but the buttons are still open to wear. I try to use the display as little as possible and concentrate on the sound...since the display is a backup, the extra clarity the carbon overlay offers isn't quite as important. Lots of issues with covers, but in the end it's just peace of mind. It can always come off when/if necessary. Thanks duggr!

You can Buy a Zagg cover for a tablet and cut it to cover the buttons

While waiting for the CTX covers I tried the Thesaurus V3i display cover on the CTX and it fits rather well...can use it in the meantime no problem.

I am using this one and its awesome. I don't really think you need anything covered other than the screen unless you are pretty rough with your other machines. The sun visor has helped too...I do notice it blocking the sun quite often and it does come off via velcro if you were going in the water.
