Anybody use the E-Z Tote to wear excal on belt?

Is the typical failure usually a short? My understanding was that it was usually an open. I'm just curious. In the 10+ years I've been using my 3 Excaliburs, I haven't had a cable failure (knock, knock) I did have a bad coil one time, but, it was the coil itself and not the cable, plus it was under warranty anyway. The key is to not put a strain on any cable and allow enough slack so you don't cause repeated hard flexing at any one point.

They are shorts in the cables anywhere from 6 inches to 24 inches from strain reliefs.
