For those who like to hunt southern Minnesota a small tid bit of info... ;)

I came across a copy of these papers at the local museum a while back, called the "Bailly Papers", [not sure if spelled correctly]they were a list of goods delivered to Alexander Faribault for trade to the Native Americans in the Cannon Valley area. Metal items on the list were...
tomahawks
knifes
needles
carpenter tools
nails
keg bands
gun shot
assorted traps
speer's
forks
spoons

Now these are the things we would expect to find from the 1800s, but it's nice to find an actual list. I noticed guns were not on the list.
