Hello. I'm new to the forum and fairly new to detecting. Picked up an AT Pro last year and spent the season in local parks and a few older lots in Rochester and Blue Earth being trained by my detector. Had a few interesting finds including a token, a 43 Merc, an 1891 Indian Cent, and a Buffalo Nickel (1914?) which, although nothing extraordinary, was pretty exciting for a newbie like me.
You can never be too sure, but it seems winter is but a memory (for the next 5 months anyway) and tis the season for fishin' terra firma. Having spent the winter researching and documenting areas in Southern Minnesota, I'm ready to cure my fever with a few local ventures.
Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself and check if anyone might be willing to point me in the direction of a local club or any upcoming MD events.
I don't have any tips or tricks, or awesome find stories but with a little experience and maybe getting together with other hunters, I hope to change that.
Thanks for having me
Eric
