Need help identifying (thought id as you local guys first)

Detecting a homestead from the late 1800s and found this shield thing. Anyone have idea what this could be? I have no idea where to even begin searching google for information on this relic.

my guess is a head badge form an old bicycle or such .

Based on a google search thats exactly what this looks like, but man am i having a hard time finding this exact one
