Im thinking of making a list of places to hunt and go through them with a fine comb..

starting at my house then moving to some friends houses that claim to have old history... then probably going to make a list of parks all parks within 100 miles of me, then maybe hit some creeks/rivers.. I duno but I know I want to be sure to make a list..

How do you guys start your hunts?

I have done the local parks (after making sure it was OK).
I then started on the older closed schools (get permission too).
Community centers sometimes were old schools.
The creeks though may be a great place too since it is so hot (you can look for arrowheads too).
The snakes are out in full force though, and don't forget those snapping turtles and gators!
Good luck

Schools, parks, city and county properties.
Research and see what's out there, then start calling or knocking on doors.
Permission on anything that is not 100% OK. Too many So-called MDers really
screw it up for the rest of us. Plenty of places to go, no not all will produce and
sometimes you just have to be happy with a pocket full of clad.
Ready to go to the creek, at least if we pass out, we have a cool spot to land.:skullflag:
