can you md in any county parks here??do you need a permit??if so where can i get one have my state permit comming in mail.thanks for any help

I've never gotten a permit for Jeff Co Parks. I have hunted several of the nice parks there. There is a lot of can slaw (shredded aluminium cans from mowers). I did get a nice 1950's pocket dump w/merc dime and a Wal-Mart quality gold ring at Rockford Beach. But, I dug mucho trasho. Byrnes Mill was trashy too but I got a silver onyx ring and a couple bucks in clad. Then there was clad only at Morse Mill. I talked to an old timer at a StL county park detecting who told me he took out a couple hundred dollars worth of mostly silver coins at Morse Mill in the late 70's. Cedar Hill was un-eventfull to me too but still a good place to go visit.
