A man who found more than $12,000 in cash buried in a muddy bank along the Missouri River last month has collected the money from the police because no one claimed it. The man, Russell J. Jones Jr., 20 years old, of Omaha, picked up the cash Thursday, said Lieut. Joe Boan, in charge of the police property room. Mr. Jones gained legal right to the money after no one else claimed it during the 30-day waiting period required by law after the discovery.
