I see loads of great movies in the different catagories and got to wondering who peps felt their favorite actors were movie wise. Of course some of you were pretty clear on the other posts who you favorites were.

Here is mine:

Clint Eastwood
John Wayne
Harrison Ford
Morgan Freedman

Of course like many of you there are many more actors that I enjoy, but its hard for me to seperate these 4 as to which is the favorite.

Individual actors are hard to name. Some actors are great when they have a great counterpart, like:

>John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara

>Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn

>Rock Hudson and Jim Nabors :o :o I mean Doris Day

>Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn or Ingrid Bergman

>Cary Grant and Grace Kelly

>Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (I know not REALLY actors)

>Bo and Luke Duke

Best,

Mike

Steve McQueen definitely.

Not so big on Henry Fonda. In the late 1930s, he was in love with my grandmother (true story). She said he was a beautiful man, who always wore a White Suit. We still have all the love letters he used to write her when he travelled. He wasn't a movie star yet. He was still a couple of years from "Jesse James" and "Drums Along the Mohawk". She also said he treated her like crap, so, in 1938 she dumped him for a guy who owned a Cadillac Dealership (my grandfather).

Best,

Mike

Tough question for me.

Don't think I have a favorite actresses.

Favorite actor would have to be Charles
Bukowski for his part in "Bar Fly".

Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday.
Val Kilmer in The Ghost in the Darkness
Brian Keith and Sean Connery in The Wind and The Lion
John Wayne in The Searchers
Clint Eastwood in the Spaghetti Westerns (The Good, Bad and the Ugly) my favorite
Humphrey Bogart in We Ain't No Angels
Some more that I can't think of right now.

I like many actors but only in specific roles. A lot of good actors and actresses made some really lousy movies! Monty
