Heres another true to life movie but the man called Jeremiah Johnson real name was John Garrison.After moving to the rockies he changed his name to John "Jonathan" Johnson Johnston John's Son Tson. .The movie is true in that Garrison did have a vendetta against the Crow Indians for killing his wife.Garrison was Actually called livereating johnson in that he ate the livers of the crow indians that he killed.His feud with the crow indians lasted 25 years.

This movie gave me nightmares for years! It didn't help that I camped a lot & had many close encounters with bears. I will never watch it again. But you have fun, & eat some popcorn for me. By the way there is a hot spring in Idaho or Montana named for Jeremiah Johnson. Awesome place when I visited it, hope it's still the same.
