    Oh I have already had her out in the cold, couldnt wait, found some silver and another strange Lincoln pin or button, gonna post it soon to see if anybody can help me figure out what it is, lost my sd card so cant take a pic of it to post it yet.

    Welcome from SE PA. You will like your V3. I had one for a few years. There is soooooooo many ways to tweak it to where your hunting. Good luck with it.

    Welcome to Tnet & mug shots. 3 more months here til the ground thaws enough, but those things will work in snow, and people lose things in snow. (not much reward, but easier diggin)

    So, cm, what have you found with that new detector? You sure are in the geographical heart of early American history. I can only dream of the targets waiting in Maryland's rich soil.

    Have found 1 silver quarter 1952 I think, 2 merc dimes, 2 Reg silver dimes , tons of wheaties, found my first badly corroded token. Lots of clad and lots of metal tried it at the beach, horrible sounds but think I'm getting used to it. Been hunting old farm house no history sites lots of DNR.

    I owne a V3 also,when your at the beach make sure you have the salt compensate on,that will get rid of the noise. By the same token make sure you turn it off when going back to dirt.
