This was taken after a death metal show at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. This is actually outside of our hotel. I don't remember this photo being taken but I remember having an amazing time at the concert.

This is a picture of Nergal, the lead singer of the band Behemoth, the headliners for this show. I am in the bottom pic.

Wolvhammer, In Solitude, The Devil's Blood and Behemoth. There was another band on the lineup but they were denied a visa based on how satanic they are....i was sad. The Devil's Blood performs covered in pig blood. Was pretty intense. This was my first time in a big city not counting Milwaukee. We live so far north we have to travel ridiculous distances for good concerts. This was the Decibel Magazine tour.

My favorite band is Vader, polish death metal. Amon Amarth, viking metal. And to my surprise, this last show, The Devil's Blood was amazing. Female lead who reminds me of Grace Slick. They have a hard rock/60's mellow sound to them. Really impressive stuff. "She" and "Christ or Cocaine" are my 2 favorite songs. Check them out if ya get a chance. Ill be checking out Sabaton for sure.

familiar with with Vader. Good band. I'll check out Amon Amarth. Sabaton is like historically based stuff. They base all of their songs on historical military stuff.
(Their stuff is almost all on youtube.)

Yeah they are really good. I have not seen them live yet.....oh but I will. Most of the metal from the USA is watered down and to pc. One metal band from the US i saw and partied with was Immolation. Really really heavy, but they are socially aware and call out society on its failings.
