Re: Training Pics

That's when the bunker gear is nice. It's when it's outside and 100+ that it gets rough. I much prefered the MSA gear to the old Scott's. When you disconnect the Scott's mask from the regulator, you still feel like an elephant. LOL

Great pic BTW!

Agreed...on all points. We have both Scotts and MSA but I always go for the MSA...ease of use...especially when your hands are freezing!

looks kinda warm in there, probaly better then bearing all the snow outside, trying to dig thru all the permafrost lol, but in that pic, look beside the window at the ground, just below the window, maybe some one tossed a coin or two out the window, it might be a good place to detect

Sorry Sherm. We were talking about the breathing apparatus. They were just starting to make some improvements in the gear when I got out. On the average, the air bottles are supposed to last 30 min. but under stress and labor, you're lucky to go more than 10-15 min. w/o lots of self conscious breathing.

Cool pic Romeo....Do you ever have enough time before the burn to be able to detect these place's...Where I'm at they will use old structure's for training....Do you ever get a "head's up" well in advance for your off day's?Just wondering!!
