Nice pics. Makes me want to go fishing. Looks like a little skate you caught. In Alaska we've caught them to about 100 lbs. It's like reeling in a pool table.

It is a sand shark, we go to Rocky Point Mexico all the time, and they are everywhere, and yes it very cartoonish, kinda like me

crazy ugly fish. They are very tasty, use just the wings on the grill. Olive oil salt,pepper&fresh garlic...
Yum.

By the way, nice guns! Iron does wonders.

Nice to put a face to the name mate....also thats one thing next to dectecting i miss from the uk and thats fishing.....aint alot of water to fish out here in the desert lol...but i do have lake mead just out side vegas which is full of fish, but as for salt water fishing alass theres none unless i take a trip to califorina lol....good fishing and hh mate..

And if you go to a grocery store and see scallops and read real careful and see that is says "punch scallops". well. it is skate wings punched into rounds. Very delicious!

Now ya say thats a sand shark. Sure doesn't look like the ones up here in the north pacific! Regardless, you caught it and it had to be fun because fishing is just that way!
