Climbed out of Denver in a rain storm last Monday evening. Flying west, this was the view nearly all the way home, although in places it was much thinner, but the ground was barely visible, when the heavy clouds were gone. This was shot with my cell phone.

Didn't it make you feel a lot better when you got above the miserable gloomy clouds and saw the sunshine and blue skies?
When I was on the bird heading over to the Gulf back in 1990, one of the stops for several hours was in Belgium at an Air Force base, where it was very gray, cloudy and rainy. Damp and miserable. Once we were high in the air above that crap, there shone the sun and blue skies.
I remember feeling much better, immediately!
