Hello Everyone!

I'm new to this place. I turned 13 today [June 2, and it said I had to be 13 to join..made me wait a few days]. I have a metal detector that I've found old nails and stuff up in my woods where an old mill used to be. The names Johnny if you need me.

I'll get a picture when I can.

A boy scout? Great...Now you're going to be a YD (Young Detectorist). Also consider being a YN (Young Numismitist) and collect coins. It is really a lot of fun. My 12 year old daughter Brandy loves collecting old wheat pennies and modern cents. However, she kind of hinted that she wants to start collecting silver and gold also. Kind of made me gulp...hehehe...Think I'll get her a metal detector and let her find it. Anyway, have fun detecting and welcome young man
