They made some Great songs after they split up to :notworthy:

I agree with you to a certain extent, even George was doing well on his single projects. Even with these individual successes, the team of Paul & John were at their best working together. I know that Paul admitted to that, and I am certain that John would have probably felt the same way. Both had different different idea in their music, but when they worked together there are not many song writing teams that can stand in the same company as them.

Take Keith Richards for example, now he says Mick Jagger was nothing without him. Keith's solo career didn't fair so well and Mick never made a big deal about his statements either. This is just another example of how no matter how good one thinks they are, they are nothing without cooperation and Mick is big enough of a man to know it too.

None of them  Hate them all. Always and forever. Never understood the appeal of the Beatles. Now, if you want to talk about REAL talent from that era, Elvis was the man. The looks, the voice, the moves, the charisma. THAT was talent my friend :headbang:

Saw one of the best Elvis imitators that I have ever witnessed the other night. His name was Rick Alviti, and he was at a casino here in NY. He had the old girls in the audience going nuts!

My fave has always been one song and the reason why is i remember it so well even though i was so so young lol i was 4 yrs old and remember the 12" black and white tv we had and my mom screaming up and down when the beatles came on the Ed sullivan show debuting ( I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND) .... i never really became a huge fan but they did make lots of great music... and continued to make alot of great music even after there demise.... every member deserves a place in the rock and roll of hall and fame... John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals).

Original UK LPs
Please Please Me (1963)
With The Beatles (1963)

A Hard Day's Night (1964)
Beatles for Sale (1964)
Help! (1965)
Rubber Soul (1965)
Revolver (1966)
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967)
The Beatles (aka the White Album) (1968)
Yellow Submarine (1969)
Abbey Road (1969)
Let It Be (1970)

there music speaks for themselves..... thats what was appealing....:headbang:

As a child, Yellow Submarine made perfect sense to me. But I'd have to say 'Let it Be' and 'something' are my favorites now.
