No More Paper Tickets For Ticketmaster

(CNN)--The days of paper concert tickets may be numbered.

Ticketmaster is looking to cut them out completely.

That means you would have to show your credit card at the box office instead of having a ticket printed.

The move is seen as a way for the Live Nation ticket distributor to stop scalpers from buying hundreds of tickets, hiking up the price, then re-selling them.

But it would also make it harder for you to re-sell or give away your tickets.

Great, now maybe people can see concerts again

I have no problem with the new way to handle tickets, and you don't have to fumble for them later

will definately give more a chance to buy
without running to scalpers
who I always thought were Conected to the Ticket master
dealers, so they could buy the First few rows
first

I guess the bigger boys on the scalping side had a good run while it lasted.. I'm sure that some from Ticketmaster also made out like bandits too..

It will bring concert going back to the experience of the 60's through early 80's when you could buy a decent seat.
