On February 1st 2012 Ian Anderson announced via the official Jethro Tull website that there is to be a follow up album, TAAB2 - Whatever Happened To Gerald Bostock? ("a full length Progressive Rock "concept" album worthy of its predecessor. Boy to man and beyond, it looks at what might have befallen the child poet Gerald Bostock in later life. Or, perhaps, any of us") which will be released on April 2nd 2012.
The only sad part about this is that Ian Anderson no longer posses the voice he once had, but musically I think it will be a great CD.. Then again, I do love Jethro Tull
I know there is a scheduled tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Thick As A Brick, but I'm not sure if I want to purchase tickets.. I did see the 1st tour at MSG in NYC and want to keep that memory
