Coooool. Strawberry Alarm Clock. Incense and Peppermints, a song whose lyrics were made up to appeal to the psychedelic market but mean nothing. Still cool sound though. Note Ed King, guitarist on the upper left, a southern boy from southern California who went on to play for Lynyrd Skynyrd.

All great songs !

Odd the Audience Laughed when Durante first said "The Grass roots" I wonder if they thought he was joking
or if they were told just laugh every time he opens his mouth.

Jay & the Americans :icon_thumright: long time...... no hear good song

the Blond on the right, with the Bride of Frankenstein Hair Dancing to KICKS :laughing7:
she really got into it at the end,
I'm surprised it didn't fall off :laughing9:

I always loved the Grass Roots and it's funny to see Creed Bratton the guitar player on the left acting in The Office. You can see him close up 1:31 minutes in, he's a funny guy. Too bad they left his funniest comment out groupies out of that clip. Yeah, we had tons of women and maybe a guy slipped in, who knows :dontknow: :laughing7:

The music of the 60's was all about fun, not like today's crap..

2 more bonus songs that still make me laugh
