I like Mary Long & Anyone's Daughter the best...

If you like Deep Purple, check out Deep Purple with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.. This is my favorite part.. skip to the 4:30 mark

Interesting one WIT Thanks !

I'm not a Big Deep purple fan.

I like Hush, and one or 2 others.

Can't stand smoke on the water, it was over played on the radio & by Local cover Bands
to the point I don't think I'll ever be able to call it fun to hear again.

no fan of the Royal Philharmonic either. too stuffy I think they all sit on sticks to play,
if you get my drift.

Anyway I think what you referred to actually started at or closer to 4:50 for Me.

and Thanks !

I think it was Richie Blackmore (Lead Guitarist for DP) that was being interviewed on a radio show about 2 years ago, and he now writes children music.

DP was by far my favorite of the time. Being a car fanatic, High Star and Space Truckin' were usually playing in my car on cruises. Lazy was another great tune they put out.

Tomorrow, Jeff will be putting up the Grand Funk Railroad thread with Mark, Don and Mel. Or perhaps another of my favorites once I got back to the states... J. Giels Band. Live was my favorite album of theirs.

I agree with everything you said... I started you at 4:30 for a little build up to the good stuff :)
