In Honor Of Graduation Season--My Solo Guitar Verson Of "Pomp And Circumstance"

In honor of graduation season (in the US--generally May-June, of course), thought I'd post my solo, acoustic (instrumental, of course) 6-string guitar version of the most famous portion of Edward Elgar's classic 1901 composition, "Pomp And Circumstance"--AKA, "The Graduation March." I'm playing a 1976 Martin D-35, by the way. It's in 128kbps mp3 format:

"Pomp And Circumstance"/"The Graduation March"

For more of my solo, acoustic, instrumental 6 and 12-string guitar playing, jump on over to my page "All Inyo All The Time".

Good job Inyo. Those old 35s sure have a nice bright sound.

Thanks a big bunch for the good words. Very much appreciated, indeed.

Yep--that old Martin D-35's been just about everywhere. The previous (first) owner took it with him all over the US (California to the Atlantic Ocean and Washington state to Florida)--and to several overseas countries, as well. It's been below sea level in Death Valley and to over 10,000 feet in the White Mountains, California. It's been a real reliable and fun workhorse of a guitar, for certain. Still in its original, unmodified condition, as a matter of fact.
