You know Jeff, we kinda get used to news of passings. I know I'm a decade older than you are. If I took a guess, there's only about 1/4 of my generation still with us.
Mom is 91, and all of hers are gone. I know in the past when I talked to "wiser" people, they all talked about friends they lost. I just brought my cousin in to live with us, heard she was in bad shape, and she can help with Mom. There's only 2 of the 6 remaining there from her mother, Mom's sister.
That is the sad fact of our lives.
