TOM PETTY - Found in full cardiac arrest, no brain activity, plug is pulled

Tom Petty had finished a three night gig with Heartbreakers at the Hollywood Bowl, was found at his LA home in cardiac arrest, rush to the hospital, put on life support.
Was declared with no brain activity and the plug was pulled.

That's too bad. I saw a few of his concerts and have always been a fan. Rest in peace, Tom. May your sounds live on for many more generations to enjoy.

Saw him many years ago at Bloomsburg Fair when he was still Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

I knew Tom Petty during his Florida days with Mudcrutch.
My band and Mudcrutch were double booked at a teen VFW gig, I said we could both split the door, but Tom looked at the crowd, said that wouldn't be much for both bands, and suggested flipping a coin. I won the coin toss.
You are missed already, but rock and roll heaven has one hell of a band!
