Our friends invited us to their church Sunday night for a concert. Neither one of us wanted to go. Mr WD was very reluctant. They kept texting to make sure we were coming. They even stopped by to check. At that time she told us that all the group asked for was the church to put them up in a hotel for the night. No other payment. Mr WD asked me on the way to the church, "I wonder just what their (the group's) angle was? Not asking for money for payment." Well, we kind of figured they would be asking for an offering. They did, but to our surprise it wasn't for their expenses. It is a ministry that they are on. They want to visit VA Hospitals and give a pack of their music and a Bible away to the veterans. This is a song that one of them wrote 8 years ago. It is supposed to be released nationally in the upcoming months.
