Jeff you kill me with some of the bands you remember. Back in my younger days. They were to do a concert at Shea Stadium. Guessing maybe 1971 or so. Way before Ticket Master. Anyway. Since my GF at that time was a big fan. And thinking I could make some points I waited in line all night outside of the ticket window. Lol me and about 700 others. Got the tickets when they went on sale long night in line. Thanks for bring back a memory. Think their key song then was My Captain

I used to Love concerts back then, Not only Priced Right,
We could get there in the Morning & run down in front of the stage
as soon as the Doors Opened.

& Directly where the Best view and Sound was :headbang:
