That right there is what America is all about...... not enough patriotism now a days. When that song came out all us boys were singing it and wanted to be Sgt Sandler. Thank you for posting that song. Bet you they would not play that on mtv.

TT, I never knew your birthday, but this song couldn't be meant for a
truer American. And I'm man enough to admit, it did bring a tear to my
eye & a surge of patriotism. My Dad was a WWII Army Ranger, buck Sgt.
& he lived it for 44 months overseas. The song means something to me.
