The Goldtop is actually an '02 Classic. Fret markers are 'aged' pearloid(mother of plastic) which gives it an older look. I don't even play Les Pauls(too heavy) but couldn't pass this up for $200.
You're in Wilmington right Red??

Re: Guitars
so I can get more, More, more.......<<Wetgreenie
I suffered from G.A.S. for many years Greenie. Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Those were the days when I thought that things would make me feel better. I loved things and used people. Now I love people and use things. Sorry if I'm getting too philosophical but recovery from addiction has taught me the the best things in life aren't things. Addiction stole most of those guitars and as my terminally ill wife used to say........."Ya can't play more than one guitar at a time anyways". I have little time these days to play due to being a primary caregiver for my wife, but I still pick it up a few times a week to keep my chops fresh.
"Shut up and play yer guitar".......FZ Godwilling I'm gonna catch Johnny A. this sat. nite in Philly.

It's not in too bad of shape. Maybe a few scratches. My sons got it at his house. I'll ask him to take a pic and post it. As I recall it is missing the pick guard. Still have the original case too.

Re: Guitars
I've got a 63 white gibson sg special. Anyone know it's rarity? All orignal, non-tremlo,
no swapped parts. Picked it up for $400 from a lady so she could fund her son's commissary account in the big house. Someone told me that there was an article recently in vintage guitar(?) that said Tom Petty recently purchased one. I'm not a picker, but it was too cool a deal to pass up.
