The only two coils you need for the MXT is the SEF 8x6 & the 15x12. Enjoy. They also make the SEF 18x15. The bigger the better right ? (Site dependent)

Thanks I saw the 15 x 12 sef last night while window shopping.Thats the one I want

The 15x12 gets good seperation for the size but also allows you to cover more ground with a little more depth. Look forward to seeing your finds.

i have found that the larger the coil the less time you will be swinging it, i have the 10' DD which is as good as any field coil. even the stock coil is as good as any large coil as far as depth. My favorite is the 6-10 save your money and dont let your arms get tired or you could use your finds for a good chiropractor

The D2 white's 10" DD coil is plenty deep running at +2 gain, don't run too high as the background noise will hide the deep whisper targets. You might be able to go higher depending on the EMI in the area your detecting. HH
