    Laneolate Form Heads

Here are two pieces that I found this year. They are both Lanceolate Form pieces that I found in N. Eastern California.
The bigger one is small Cascade Knife style (Early Archaic Phase 8000-4000 B.P.) made from Basalt.
The smaller piece is a Cascade style point from the same phase but made from obsidian.

I found both pieces five feet from eachother at the top of small land point that was apparently a camp or small village. There was a lot of flaking and obsidian chips in the area.

    Thanks for looking.
