Heart shaped 17th century token
This is my best heart shaped 17th century traders token. It was issued by William Smith (milliner) in Retford (east) ,Nottinghamshire around 1665-1668. Although not in great condition it's a very rare and desirable find.

Wow, that's an excellent find, nearly 340 years in the ground. About anyway.... Very nice, what would something like that be worth?

thats an awesome token!
Anyone can make life interesting you just have to go out there and do things instead of sitting on your butt doing nothing. Second quote: Life is about trying new things not just standing around.

For once I can answer that question (just sold it this aft.) . The macro really picks out the detail, with the eye it's practicaly impossible to make much out at all. If this token had been in much better condition it would be worth about £300. As it is I was very happy to accept £130 for it from a collector of Nottinghamshire tokens.

Yeah Shaun that's the one, had it a long time, time to move it on. Think I will put another one on to ebay in a mo, it's a really nice and rare one.
