Yeah baby! Made the cover of the W&E Find of the Year issue! ( 8:00, clock-wise, Union and Central Pacific Baggage Claim) Hopping around my house, doing a ******ed chicken dance, all by my lonesome! More than made up for the last two weeks of driving around Denver, finding absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing worthy of posting. Hell, it made my year. It’s not a CSA buckle, or a gold coin, and certainly not a Washington Inaugural Button, but man, is I stoked! Not tooting my own horn here, (although I will be signing copies of the April issue at a Barnes and Noble near you), and I’m sure I’ll be annoying the living crap out of everyone I detect with, “stock market tumbled 700 points? Horrible! By the way, did ya happen to see the new W&E issue with my find of the year on the cover?” Actually I’m posting this to thank everyone that provided me with all the input on this baggage claim. If I hadn’t posted it here at this site, it would still be tucked away in my “cool finds area”, just gathering dust. You people at this site informed me of its scarcity, its value, and just by posting positive comments made my day. And when I decided to try and sell it, I was told at this site which auction houses were reputable. My cats now have food. I salute you all! Special thanks to PBK, who is a walking treasure trove of useful and valuable information, who sits staring at his computer day and night, just waiting to respond to our cries of help. That’s what this detecting forum is all about. Kudos!
Anyone can make life interesting you just have to go out there and do things instead of sitting on your butt doing nothing. Second quote: Life is about trying new things not just standing around.

Oh my, yes. Here ya go, thought of making it my avatar, but I've been jinxed so far this year, detecting find's-wise. Some really amazing finds found last year, saw more than a couple that had been posted at this site. My favorite is the California 1/4 dollar with the cross.
