Re: fugio cent # two
I spent a bit of time this evening looking at your coin and after the process of elimination was done on what variety it was not, I finally felt satisfied I had the correct variety identified. But before I posted what I thought it was I did ask a few of the top collectors of Fugio's if my attribution was correct or not.
I was correct, verified by a couple knowledgeable collectors, so I feel very confident in saying it is a Newman 19-Z.1 variety, which looking in some auctions appears to be at least a Rarity 5+ for a Fugio.
Have you any clearer photos of the coin? If so, would love to see them, some details are not visible in the photo and if anymore are visible after further cleaning or clearer photographs, some would like to see more, just in case by some remote possibility it is a new variety, which it most likely is not, but always a slight possibility................

The value will increase with judicious cleaning."
