This is the results of an early June hunt in the Murray Idaho mining area. I had researched this site since finding old buckets and other surface trash on a hunting trip a few years earlier. The first picture is of the clearing where I believe an early 1900's mining tent camp had been in operation. Theres a stream in the background and sign of a sluice ditch and possible hydraulic operation on the high bank.[attach=2
Some items dug that help age the site. probably dug 30 old Prince Albert tobbacco cans[attach=3
Then, Wow! The shine of silver got the camera out again. Saw that old flying eagle.

Heres a picture of the front of the beautiful Lady, later at home. She's a 1917 Standing Liberty type 1.

Note: I didn't follow directions on attaching pics so hope you can make some sense of this. Sorry
SilverSwede.
And here's the Reverse. I have dug older coins and alot of silver but never one as pretty as this. I looks like it was lost last week instead of about 80 years ago. I have rehunted the area quite a bit and brought old spoons and other items but not another coin of any kind.
Yes, Old Dog, It is and it's a sweet S. Had it graded at a coin shop today and he gave it a "At least very fine" Thanks for all the nice comments everyone.
