last find of the year

I found this coin at a French battle site . It is probably my best find because the history behind it. This was during the French revolution and was a unique time in history.? After hunting this site many times, I finally found a coin from that period.

Nice find Birdman,
Them old dead dignateries do look good on an old dug coins, that we might have opportunity to dig up today.
Must bring back memories of a once thought upon world of better times, and future paradise
in a better world to come. ( Impossible dreams of mortal mankind and it's flawed lifestyle and government) If they only could have lived to see our world today......
