Once again great find, I am sorry for jumping on you, I thought I was in Todays Finds when i saw this here.

I'd say you're right, you might never top it! But it will be fun to add others to display around it.

The thing is in detecting you can never say never. I found my best button not even 2 years in, best silver at about 5 years, and best copper this year (10 years). One really doesn't top the others but it sure felt like it on the day it was dug. So you might never dig a big gold coin again but you might find something different that you like just as much. At two years you're still wet behind the ears.

I've been hunting 30 +.....and never found a gold coin. So, you've got plenty of time to find another.
But, this one is one sweet coin, for sure.
