Now this is an Indian Head....NM ghost town find

Well, Just before the snow storm hit I went to a ghosttown near my house and found this really nice copper Indian head. I am not sure if it was part of a bolo tie, belt buckle or what because there is no indication it was attached to anything on the back. It is about 2" high and 1.5" wide and very detailed in the stamping. If you have any ideas or have seen one before, let me know. I also found a 1911 dime in the same area. so maybe this is the era of the piece??
Thanks for looking and good luck hunting.
