    2009 Find in Display Boxes

    Below are some pics of my 2009 (a few items were found other years) Displays. They are in 20"x14" Riker boxes, but the glass lid was removed to prevent camera flash. The last display has items I found in camps where my ggranddaddy was stationed during the Civil War. He was in the NC 7th Infantry and was wounded/lost his leg during the Battle of New Bern. Breezie

    Very nice display setup Breezie. It looks very impressive. I like how items are labeled.

    That spectacle buckle in the first case is a VERY early find.

    My favorites are the clay pipes. Are they trash pit digs?
