The old roman name of the town was COLONIA NEMAUSUS, on your seal short COL -- NEM
The view was used on ancient coins of the town, and used in new times on seals.

Yep, and it's in the post because it's also one of my favourites. As fas as French seals here that is probably the most common.
Back to the one from Nimes, I was told it was East India Company but is something I haven't been able to confirm, mostly because I didn't look. Do you know if that is the case.

I know that the Florebo-one is East India Company, but the one from Nimes ... I don´t know ?
I would rather say that it is a cloth seal. Maybe from the famous Denim ?

It is an old industrial town producing things like cloth and paper.
It has not been possible for me to find out what the text says ?
Do you know more about the seal ?

Could you please write here what letters you see ?
The word TILLVERKNING means like: PRODUCTION !

Nor would I, but my point was that if its in his scrap lead bucket & was going to be melted down (this is an assumption, might not have been his intention?), then he is best selling it to a collector who will appreciate them more. Is it not?
