OK, this is my best looking unsolved "What Is It". There have been several types of these posted. Lot's of good guesses but nothing definite. Remember, this is NOT the forum to be looking for an ID for your What is It. Just show off that thing in your collection that's been driving you nuts
Actually I can play this game with three I can think of. The first is a stamped token that in a way seems like it could have a local connection, but it has been seen by experts right across the country and if they don't know, there's not much point in posting it anymore. The second is what looks like a watch fob with the letters DDC 1911, never did figure that one out.
The third, and one I will post, is a red, white, and blue shield pin that says ANL. I am told it is probably Army Navy League - a Civil War Veteran's organization, and that makes good sense but no one has ever been able to show me another the same.
AMERICAN DIGGERS ON SPIKE: THE TRASH WE WOULD LIKE TO DISCRIMINATE OUT!
This was not properly I.D'd. in my opinion. The best theory was off of a school desk but it can't be as it has movable pieces and clamps.
It certainly is cool to look at but what the heck is it?
Dave.

Found this along the Mohawk River. Have tried for a year to identify it, with no luck. It has a screw back fastener and is about the size of a quarter.

I pick this thing up once a month. It is certainly not good looking but sure has taken alot of my blank staring
My guess is..........holder from a flag holder belt. Looks the rivets are still in place and with possibly little damage. Like it was dropped and the material rotted away.

My guess is a lady's compact mirror with the mirror missing.
Hey HistoryHound. Dont know what you got there, but would the guns and the 303 maybe be for the Enfeild 303? That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it. Good luck figuring it out no matter what it is.
