My two Golds for the year. The first is 10K with a Tigers Eye stone and two small diamonds. The other is 14K with two small diamonds. Found the last on my last hunt of the year! Great way to finish out 2009.
This is the ring I found at the Florida Hunt last Jan.
it weighed 5.7 grams, 14k, .47 ct pear cut diamond with a back bowtie facet
vvs 1. appraised at 1700.00
and I'm not embarrassed to say I did the happy dance when I found that one. LOL
well the avatar says it all! Found on a beach, in wet sand, a couple of inches deep as Hurricane Bill passed off the Jersey shore. I was hunting with an excal II. Appraisal, $18,000!!
I didnt find any nice gold jewelry in 2009, but lets hope 2010 will be better .
Det vi vet er så uendelig lite mot det som har hendt. Arkeologen er som den som går langs en strand og finner småtterier, skyllet i land fra et forsvunnet skib. Men selve skibet som gikk i dypet med menneskene får han aldri se.
I recieved a request to show my entry for 2009 best gold. I found 150 gold for the year but without a doubt this is the best of the lot. 1ct flawless diamond in 18k yellow Wt. 10 grams.
best gold find....how about the only gold find in several years, not too often I get to participate in a gold show!
it's an unmarked Victorian collar stud, nothing too special, but at least I got it!
