Thanks for the input however I am a Mason and this particular item is not anything I have ever seen. I can see where one would think that though.

Thanks again for the input and Happy Hunting,

Ed

sorry i didnt take a picture, but my weirdest find or should i say didnt find, was a dime stuck to the back of my digging trowel. I got a signal and after 5min of digging it disapered, so i gave up. Then on the next hole it fell off and i realised it was the coin from before. So remember check your hole the check your shovel!!!! :laughing7: :laughing7:

its a well trod routine, check the hole (normally fell in deeper), then check your boots (see if its stuck to it), then check your spade, then panic that you have lost a good signal :D

Small locket with someone's hair inside... late 1800's/early 1900's I'd say... notice the wax seal.

Here are mine:

Old Danish medicine box: "Lubric piller" - constipation medicine. :evil6: 1-2 tablets in the evening. There were still two tablets left. Did not test them in practice. :tongue3:

Copper plate with engraved text "Ruumishuone" ie. Morgue/Mortuary. Found at one Finnish CW site.

I was at a Chicago city park and I began detecting a sandbox. Got a good signal....dug....dug, now at 1' I see a plastic lid -- attached to a small coffee can. I retrieve the can, open it....there were 2 garden snakes (alive) in the can with green grass. It was lucky that the can was a foot deep because the temp that day was 88 degrees. I let the snakes go.

Here's another strange one, I'm not sure what it is or what it's made of but I'm nearly positive it was altered by man.

I was in a sand box at a city park, got a signal, dug down 1 foot and found a 13 oz coffee can with a plastic lid. I opened the can.....whoa, 2 live garden snakes in some grass. I released them.
