My best coin find. Found in an old park here in Michigan. About a 90 year old purse buried.

22k gold bracelet, diamond ring, silver chain and wife found & returned class ring.

Ross, Fascinating!! If that old purse could talk, imagine the tale it would tell! ?I keep going back to look at this post over and over again! I now live in Southern California, but I grew up in MI, and my dad used to take us kids to Belle Isle all the time. And my dad used to go there as a child as well. And to think, that purse was there all this time! ?This is the kind of thing that metal detecting is all about. Thank you .

Double checkthat 1901 quarter and make sure it doesen't have an "S" mint mark. The deference could be thousands of dollars.
