Most of my CW finds

I found these about 20-30 years ago while hunting with my brothers in and around Hagerstown, Md. Back then, it was just a matter of getting out. I actually picked the breast plate up after moving a dried cow patty out of the way.

Cool collection! I am starting to miss Maryland since I had to move down here to Kentucky. So much history there. Question...Bottom row 2nd from the right....is that one of those explosive type bullets sectioned out? Does is screw back on? Thanks

While that may be an exploding bullet the piece below it is just a cut off bullet. Probably used for a game or something. I am not exactly sure what an exploding bullet is.
Back when we were digging these my brother was the ID expert. He would tell me what something was and I would forget it as soon as I found something else.
What part of Kentucky are you in? I will be in Stanton the middle of April to visit family.

Yeah well I am at good old Fort Campbell, Kentucky...home of the 101st ABN Division "Screaming Eagles". Unfortunately it's about 4 and a half hours SW from Stanton. Looks like you won't be far from Lexington though, which I hear has some really good areas to hunt.

My brother has a couple of sites lined up to hunt near Stanton. I will only be up there for the weekend and won't have a chance to do a lot of hunting.

I did some more research on the bullet (I called my brother and described it to him). It is a Williams type 1 cleaner missing the two zinc discs.
