I happen to see this while doing a search for something else. Amazing finds Relicdude. I wish we could still search here in South Florida but its pretty much all off limits. Those days are over in South Florida unless its private land or underwater. Get it while you can (like everybody else)..

    Did this make banner?

Great finds. Finding history is always a great experience. Knowing first hand how they live is exciting.. My daughter is moving to Lakeland, fl this year. I can't wait to start detecting this year. I am buying my 2 grandchildren metal detectors to get them involved in a great hobby.

I agree on the how they lived part.....I also like the shock of finding that 1 of a kind relic, good luck to you & the kids! The reason most dont find really old stuff in florida is because the state already knows where the old stuff is & makes it off limits to people treasure hunting....

I've done a lot of research & know where some of the best treasure in america is,but can not get the ok to hunt these areas, the treasure is now under where million dollar homes are built & its all private land.. Its the old indian gold the spanish were looking for & stealing for many years,a friend got a few gold hawk bells from the sites....
