Of course we all know that tot lots produce some amazing finds every now and then for those who dare enter their confines. I thought it would be interesting to see what fellow t-netter's have "discovered" in them. Here are a few goodies that I have found in the sand and chips the last couple of years or so.
You know, it seems that here in Texas, schools and parks are often built on old homesteads and finds like that are amazing to me! One of these days maybe I will be so lucky. Good job!

Re: Let's see your tot lot finds!!!
I've been hunting the tot lots for over 20 years. So far I've dug out over 200 pieces of gold jewelry. What I've noticed is that most of my success come from the schools that have the highest percentage of Asian and Hispanic kids. For some cultural reason the Asian and Mexican kids are really decked out in gold jewelry. They are wearing gold rings, gold bracelets, and gold chains with gold religious medallions. All this stuff ranges in 10K all the way up to 24K. My advice is just find the schools where the Asian and Mexican kids are, that's where the gold is!

Re: Let's see your tot lot finds!!!
Those are some amazing finds guys I should have read this post sooner!
Thanks for the great ideas
I love hunting old relic sites . . . as I feel
the imprint of past lives often linger there.
I view relic sites as windows to the past, sacred places
in a way, yet at the same time attesting to the reality
that the past is still very much a part of our today!
