I think my hunting time frame is coming to a close!!!! Its gettin allot colder out and a lot of rain!!!! But I still love my best find of the year!!!!! She is warm and Gold with a little red Sparkle HH Chug

I will get out when i can!!! Damn it suck when you are getting older and Your body starts complaining to you because you use it to much!!!! Guess I will have to start taking my Vitimins and rest up for the Spring time hunts!!!!

For me it's my first capped bust coin. Three half-dimes were found in four days which was baffling because none had been found previously at this site. The 48' was an 'O'.

All the digging I did this Fall and am nowhere close to changing. It sure is funny how one certain thing can change how you look at the entire Fall... and I just didn't get over it.

It seems like every outing my best find changes, but I think this one from last weekend is the one that is going to stick for 2010. It will be a tough one to top with less than 2 weeks left and the winter chill upon us.

If I am not mistaken, Don made the banner with similar ones 18 months back.

Has to be this circa 6-7th Century Anglo-Saxon Mount. A period I enjoy but rarely find, I may beat it, depending on how you judge a find, but I have set the bar high this year

Now my season is over, this is still my best find, although if the pinhead I got on our last outing is Saxon, then we might have a tie for 1st place:

I have to say my best find this year is a toss up between a 1760 Milled Pillar 1 Reale found in June, or a C1700 Spanish Cob found earlier this month.

I would have to say the 2-1/2 ct solitaire ring I found, along with the rest of the diamonds, and of course the 1824 capped bust half dollar.
