I get out when I can with my mom or my buddy usually on the weekends when I'm not fishing. These finds are from last year and some of this year so far. MY favorite is the Eagle REGt button I found along with the early marine corp and navy buttons, and most of the other buttons on the left. Finds include various buttons, 2 toasted coppers some buckles and some whatsits. The gold wax is also one of my favorites. Recently I've struck out almost every outting with a few indians and silver coins to keep me going til the fields are dormant. Thanks for looking! Can anyone date the ornate buckle and the Spiggot looking item along with the WR PAT brass object? Thanks.

Photo #5, bottom right, looks to be a gas spigot, probably late 1800's/early 1900s.
Photo #8 looks to be a drawer pull, ornate, I'd say before 1900.
Some interesting relics here. The gold piece looks like a wax seal. Melted wax used to seal envelopes, than this was pressed onto the surface of the soft wax. Usually left an impression. Early security device to tell whether an envelope had been opened or tampered with.
