I think everyone likes to find gun parts...I've found almost enough to complete a musket but my favorite is this 1872 Colt Pocket Pistol. Post up your favorite!

Re: Post Your Favorite Gun Part
Well, I've never had the privilege of finding a pistol or parts yet... but I have had the opportunity to hold a Civil War pistol that was found by an ex's father at Natural Bridge Battlefield, before it was a state park. He had many amazing Civil War relics & Native American artifacts, but he insisted that he would've rather found another nice button than the pistol. I just stared at him in disbelief because that had to be the coolest relic I've held in my hands before. Oh, and the pistol shot below it is mine. I found that at a lost fort site up there in Tallahassee, which only a few people know about.

Rom. 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
Rom. 10:10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Lucky enough to find these at an Federal outpost last year . 1858 Enfield , brass trigger guard and butt plate , complete with original screws . These were dug within a foot of each other , near a stone wall . I will always will wonder who found the barrel of this rifle . Notches made on plate are another CMD
This is my favorite for the year. A Springfield Lockplate. Not my overall favorite though, that would have to be the full .69 Cailber Brown Bess Complete Lockplate with hammer and Guts that I found at DIV 7.
Hello mates!
show a rebolver of the 20 and the second photo is of my collection of flintlocks 17th century.
Hate to burst your bubble Hispan, but I think those are just turn buckles. I have never seen a flintlock screw like any of the ones you have. I do however find turn buckles like those quite a bit at 1870's - 1880' home sites.
