I found the one in the middle and the smaller Yale while cleaning out my Grandparents house. The middle one is a APCO - Alabama Power Company lock dated 1956.
These are the locks i found in 2010
One looks confederate..One looks like a shackle...And the little one with the s has three eclipsed moons on the back.

This brass lock is one of my favorites. It was used by The Huntingdon & Broad Top Mountain Railroad. Construction of this railroad began in 1853 and it ceased operations in 1954. It hauled coal to the Pennsylvania Railroad mainline from the Broad Top coal fields.
Not too many locks but several keys. I have a few more but this was the first box I dug out of my "junk" collection. For you youngsters, the left three in the row below the locks are "Skate Keys"

I'm sorry but I don't know anything about any of them. They were just dug over the years and ended up in one of my "junk boxes'

Re: Post your locks!!!!
I found this one a couple months ago. Badly crusted and rusty, but I believe the body is brass.
The only thing I've done for it so far is soaked it in oil for several weeks. I couldn't find no
maker marks and I've checked for a match at: http://www.antique-padlocks.com and didn't find
one. Any ideas about the brand? and best way to clean it?

I dug this lock on a farm field. The lock was sold to David J. Heuermann. He was a delight to correspond with and happy to add this lock to his collection. He sent me the after pic. I was told by him that he only knew of sixteen examples of this lock. You can check out his huge collection of locks. Arty
